First Injury

Well,  it is only week 2 of my training and I already have my first injury. I always seem to have ankle problems. I am not sure why, but after my workout yesterday I was limping a bit and my ankle started hurting.

Wednesday is always my speed workout so it is bound to be difficult. I had a bagel sandwich with turkey and colby jack, then headed to the treadmill for a tempo run. I ran 10 minutes at 5.5, then each minute until I got to 6.5 I went up by .1. I stayed at 6.5 for 2 minutes then went down by .2 every minute until I got to 5.5. I stayed at that speed until I had ran 30 minutes. My mileage was 2.89. Still a lot of work to do. After stretching I noticed the ankle pain so I put some ice on it. Hopefully it is a minor injury.

Post-workout/dinner/dessert food:

Spicy Shrimp with Cauliflower

Jeremy and I went out tonight! We went to the bar for Trivia Night (And lost…terribly.) I have discovered that I really want to be a more sociable person, however, when I try to be I just end up feeling really awkward and going back in my shell. Fail. It was a fun night though.

Also, after leaving the bar I had a Milky Way Midnight and a small bag of Combos that I ate too quickly to take a picture of! It was my reward for not buying any drinks. 🙂
